Rewiring Your Brain For Work

Many of us get burned out at work or at least fall into modes that make us far less productive than we want to be. Here are 5 QUICK & EASY ways to get refocused and more productive.

1. IT'S ABOUT TIME

Find your best work times. Do your hardest work when you are most alert. For all the creatives: do it when you are tired. Some of the best ideas come when we are exhausted!

2. CAT NAP

Not everyone can just lay down and fall asleep so quickly, but a 30 minute mid-day nap can help re-organize all the morning meeting details and clears mind for new information. Maybe try it after you eat lunch!

3. MOVE IT

Exercise does a body good - increases mental alertness... and punching a bag sounds like a great idea, doesn't it?

4. FOCUS

Stay away from multi-tasking - it makes your brain less productive and less efficient. Instead choose ONE task and work on it until completion.

5. OMMMMMMM....

Who has time to meditate, you say? 5-10 minutes of meditation can strengthen your mental muscles decreasing anxiety and boosting memory

There are certainly more ways to get your brain on point to get more done, but we've found that these are definitely worth incorporating into your day and don't take much time to do.
